Memorial website in the memory of your loved one

This memorial website was created in the memory of My Mother, My Hero, our loved one, Carol Ann (Compton) Clements who was born in Stillwater, Oklahoma on the glorious day of July 29, 1940 and passed away on the mournful day of January 08, 2007 at the age of 66. We will remember her forever.
Her colorful nature will shine down and through all who knew her-

*I found the following poem in the memorial book for my mothers service, that I would like to share with everyone who loved her*:

'Echoing Love'

If the words I have spoken
echo on your mind,
my voice can never be stilled.

If you remember my mirth
when I enter your thoughts,
my smile cannot be erased.

If my mem'ry lightens your life
like the morning sunrise
then each day we'll meet anew.

If you remember me with love,
how can I then be gone.
For in your heart I shall live on.

Gone From My Sight

I am standing upon the seashore. a ship at my side spreads her white sails to the morning breeze and starts for the blue ocean. She is an object of beauty and strength. I stand and watch her until at length she hangs like a speck of white cloud just where the sea and the sky come to mingle with each other.

Then someone at my side says: "There, she is gone!"

"Gone where?"

Gone from my sight. That is all. She is just as large in mast and hull and spar as she was when she left my side and she is just as able to bear her load of living freight to her destined port.

Her diminished size is in me, not in her. And just at the moment when someone at my side says "There, she is gone!" there are other eyes watching her coming, and other voices ready to take up the glad shout: "Here she comes!"

And that is dying.

Her legacy
A True Hero

Carol Ann was one who inspired us all. With a strong will to accomplish anything she set her mind to, she kept going without looking back.
She was a determined spirit who found color in everything that she encountered.
A loyal wife, a loving mother and a trustworthy friend, everyone who met her felt a sence of peace.  Carol Ann's sole being was to please her family, to meet every need and to warm every heart.  She was one who would listen truly with her heart and never judge.  Her advice was from the heart, she thought about everyones needs and supported them in any way possible, even if it put her out of her element.  Carol Ann was a mother who did everything for her children and their friends and was always there, day or night.  She loved  to find fun in anything she did, work or play, she made the best of it.  She loved children and awaited the day to have grandchildren.  When Dana got married, Carol Ann inherited 2 step-grandsons, 8 & 10, whom she considered her own.  She was also able to be a grandmother to several foster children and help raise them all.  She loved music, singing, dancing, painting and  gardening.  If there was a sunny day, she was out in it!
Carol Ann was, is and always will be a  true hero to those who knew her.
